Betrayed and left heartbroken by Martin, teenager Mindy casts an eye on the suitcase in her bedroom. She has no choice; she has to run away from home. 

Far from the security of her parents’ home Mindy enters a new chapter of her life, apprehensive and afraid for her future. In her new world, she makes new friends, including Ajay, who wins her over by providing her with all the comforts she could only hope for herself and her expectant child, but at a price, as she soon finds herself trapped in an abusive controlling relationship. 

In later years, Mindy’s past inevitably catches up with her, when she is confronted by a bitter foe, bringing back years of rivalry and enmity rocking the stable world she had eventually created for herself. Mindy has no choice, but to go back to the world she had left behind and finish off, unfinished business.
