Moments before the first shells rain down on a village home, Sergeant Luka Pavić races to evacuate a group of civilians trapped inside.

But as Luka enters the house, he realizes something is terribly wrong. Fourteen corpses lay scattered on the floor. And in a sickening whirlwind of confusion, Luka is falsely accused of their murders. Desperate and afraid, he flees to faraway Canada.
